New Year’s Resolution? Try a Revolution- The BEST Goal You Can Make in 2015

What is a New Year’s Revolution?  No, it’s not about a hostile takeover or rebellion, but a revolving around something.   What will your life revolve around in 2015?   If it revolves around your health, you’ll be disappointed.  It could deteriorate. If it revolves around your job, you’ll be disappointed. It’s not stable. If it revolves around your happiness, you’ll be disappointed.  It’s fleeting. If it revolves around your family, you’ll be disappointed. You can’t control them. But, if your life revolves around Christ, you’ll find joy. How can that be? Let’s learn from the most wise, well-adjusted, peaceful, focused person who has ever lived: As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.  –Jesus  (John 15:9-11) What’s the best New Year’s Resolution you can make in 2015?  To be intentional and strategic about revolving your life around Jesus.  Every area.  Every area.  God’s got good news (the Gospel) to speak into every area of your life.  He didn’t leave an area untouched.  If you’re discouraged and need to pick yourself up, then get up. If you’re the kind of person who likes resolutions, make some soul goals. If you’re a New Year’s Resolution hater, be challenged to increase your devotion to Jesus in 2015.
